Anyone for Tennis?

Watching the progress of Andy Murray at Wimbledon this year put residents in the mood for a bit of tennis action of their own and they decided to hold their own tournament.
Dorothy Wood was the eventual winner of the Ladies tournament. Male participants were a bit thin on the ground - maybe they were overwhelmed when they saw how good the ladies were!

The residents at Camilla House held an Easter Egg decorating competition and an Easter Bonnet contest on Easter Sunday. Music was provided by M & M and some residents and visitors took the opportunity to have a wee dance before afternoon tea…
Valentines Day

Valentines Day gave the residents another excuse for a party and the opportunity to try out their new bubble machine. The entertainer that day was Harry who played keyboard and sang some romantic songs in keeping with the Valentines theme.
Burns Celebrations at Camilla

Rabbie Burns day was celebrated at Camilla House with a concert for the residents on the afternoon of Sunday 24th January, a day ahead of the poet's birthday anniversary, allowing more relatives and friends to attend. Local singer Benita Baugh performed traditional Scottish songs and a piper played some popular Scottish music.
Everyone present agreed it was a great party.

St Andrews Night Party at Camilla House

Camilla House residents were treated to a Fiddlers Rally to celebrate St Andrews Day on 30th November 2009. The children from Auchtertool Primary School also came in to dance for the residents. The residents toasted our Patron Saint with a small dram.
