Rain Doesn't Dampen the Spirits at the Summer Fete

Ever predictable, the Scottish weather didn't manage to dampen the spirits of the intrepid staff and helpers at the Summer Fete on 7th August. The event was simply moved indoors with stalls set up inside the home. Tombola, cake and candy, face painting and stalls selling paintings and jewellery all rounded off with a scrumptious cream tea were all very well supported by residents and visitors. The grand total of £550 was raised for the Residents Fund making the day a huge success. A big thanks to everyone who helped out on the day and to those who came along to support us.
Eleanor Christie who very kindly donated the sweets and helped out on the stall.
